Lynx Entertainment signee Kuame Eugene has let the cat out of the bag explaining why he used to wear less affordable dresses.
The award winning musician who over the years has been lambasted for his choice and style of dressing has equally insulted Ghanaians for holding that perception against him.
“Rising up as an up coming artiste, who did not have even two hits songs. My aim was to become bigger, earn enough money to cater for my mother who was selling at the market yet Ghanaians were trolling me about my how I dressed.
To me, I regarded it as though they were senseless. Were they expecting me to use the Ghc 2000 and 3000 I earned from shows to buy expensive clothes, necklaces, wrist watches, the Gucci tops and shoes meanwhile my Mum was still at the market hawking.
This is actually unwise, they should have atleast observed me for a while.”
The young star expressing his displeasure to DJ Advicer on his Happy ChatRoom show on Happy 98.9 FM explicitly stated that Ghanaians are judgemental. They judge without thinking. According to him, his mode of dressing now is not as a result of their insults rather he’s made enough now.
Disclosing his net worth he told the producer that he is well to do and categorically be classified as richest young African musician.
Also he made mention that his income from his youtube page alone is more than 50k.
