Elijah The Worshipper born Elijah Owusu Nti is a Ghanaian Urban Classic/Pop Gospel musician based in Europe, France to be precise. He was born on 4th April, 1977 at Lapaz a suburb of Accra-Ghana. He is the fourth born of his parents, Madam Owusua Vida and Mr. Gabriel Nti popularly known as Obofuor. Both his parents lives overseas. His mother at the U.S.A meanwhile his father, Italy.
He attended St. Charles Luanga Primary and J.H.S. He later on, studied Electronics at Emit Electronic Institute (EEMIT) – Kaneshie.
He hails from two small akan villages. A native of Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana and Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. In Kwahu, he comes from Aduamoa and Nsa Ase in Kumasi.
Elijah’s approach to music started as an instrumentalist where he served at his church’s music department at age seven as a professional drummer and toured europe with his style of play. This actually paved way for his stay in Europe.
He affectionately developed love for music all his life.
Even though brought up in a strong Christian home, Elijah ended up becoming a drug smuggler and engaged in all kinds of social vices until his divine call as a Prophet and a musician. Believing that he has been chosen for a purpose and his purpose is the youth, Elijah’s composition is usually targeted at the youth sending strong messages in employing simple diction that will at the end, inspire and inculcate transparency into the youth and all his fans globally.
He aims at becoming the only gospel musician with 90% of his fans being all youths with the mind of God within.
He is signed on to; NKOGHMUSIC and JESSEBEATZ MUSIC INC. On the label, he’s released two albums; Rain and Psalms and currently working on his third studio album also captioned David Dance.
